Local first by design
The field shouldn’t need Wi‑Fi.
Your core records live in the app’s database on your phone. Create aircraft, log a flight, review history, record maintenance, and manage batteries without creating an account or depending on cloud availability.
Manual backup puts supported records and app-owned images into a versioned file you choose where to store. Optional network features remain optional.

A recordkeeping aid
Technology supports the pilot. It doesn’t replace the pilot.
Radio observations and telemetry may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. RC Flight Logbook is not flight control or a substitute for visual line of sight, safe operation, manufacturer instructions, or regulatory compliance.

Does RC Flight Logbook work offline?
Yes. Core aircraft, battery, flight, maintenance, statistics, and local backup workflows are designed to work without internet access.
Do I need an account?
No account is required for core local use. Accounts will be optional when verified cloud synchronization and Pro web access are introduced.
Is the app available for download?
The Android application is currently in active development and validation. A public store link will appear here only after release gates are complete.
Will the portal replace the phone app?
No. The future portal will display explicitly synchronized data for eligible members. The phone app remains the local-first field logbook.
